Matthew 20:1
For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire men to work in his vineyard.
My comment:
I think this simile tells us, that we don`t have to search for God. God always finds us wherever we are. And he will give us a job: to believe him and do his will. Our prize is to enter the kingdom of heaven when we has finished the job.

Matthäus 20, 16:
"So werden die Letzten die Ersten und die ERsten die Letzten sein"
It is never too late to believe Jesus. The main point is that you believe from the bottom of your heart.
"34 Jesus had compassion on them [...]"
Jesus does have feelings. He is able to feel with us and therefor understands. In german it is "es jammerte ihn". He knows how bad we feel. How much do we know and understand.
