Mk.4:38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow.
Jesus has a very deep sleep. Although great windstorms arose and the waves beat INTO the boat, he could continue to sleep. And because he slept so well, his disciples asked him, as they woke him up:
“Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”(Mk.4:38)
Don't we sometimes think, that God is "sleeping" and not really caring about us? Just in times of trouble and need, we will start asking God, where he is and if he does "not care that we are perishing".
In times like these, we must not forget all the grace he gave us before. If we think of what he has done to us before, then we will not doubt anymore and we will get even more grace from God.
So: Count the blessings of the LORD!!!

The sentence "count your blessings of the LORD" reminds me about someone who told that a very good way to find sleep is to count the blessings of God. I like this idea and this heart which is willing to be thankful in "restless" times.
and i can tell you that counting sheep does NOT work! =D
