Mark Ch3

“25 If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.”

In the verses before the scribes said that he is “possessed […] by the prince of demons” (v22) and even his family said that he is “out of his mind” (v21). That all because he healed so many people and is crowded by so many people that he and his disciples hardly have time to even eat something (v20)

Therefore he told them this parable about a house. To exist as a house the inside must be strong and united. Unless it is strong it cannot stand and will fall apart. A very strong bond is being related by blood. But there is not only the one from parents and children but also the blood of Jesus which unify us and also that “whoever does God’s will is [Jesus’] brother and sister and mother. This also tells us about our attitude. How can a team compeat when it is bussy with compeating inside?

It is quite interesting that he answered with such logic reply to a "spiritual" regarding question. Everyone weather religious, beliving or a atheist has to accept this statement if this person is willing to hear the answer.

About the last point that you mentioned: Answering with logic arguments.
I think, that as we start a discussion with a non-believer, we have to have logic arguments. No one will believe us(or will know the truth)if we do not convince him how important this faith is. As he understands, that faith is so important he will accept it and come to the truth.
We can explain everything with logic arguments except of one thing: God. We cannot explain God with logic or with human intelligence or rationality!!
