Matthew Chapter 28

19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit

This verse is often quoted by other denominations to justify their baptism. Because they baptise in the name of "the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit".
But if we look at this verse more precisely, we can see, that this "name" is singular (at least in german it's very clearly "auf den Namen"). So there is one name for them. And as we all know, this name is "Jesus":

John17:11I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name—the name you gave me—so that they may be one as we are one.

I think that you all know the other bible verses, which prove, what I am talking about. I will just list them up:

Acts2:38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Acts4:10 let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole.
Acts4:11 This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’
Acts4:12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

... And there are many more...

Ja, in French transcript, it's also singular(au nom ...), but not plural(aux noms ...).

truly it is the Holy Spirit that guides us into all truth. even if we show these bible verses to some people, they will still be as blind as a bat, not able to see the meaning behind the NAME. it is quite sad. we are indeed blessed.
