Matthew Chapter 22

Matthew Chapter 22 : 19-21

19 Show me the coin used for paying the tax." They brought him a denarius,

20 and he asked them, "Whose portrait is this? And whose inscription?"

21 "Caesar's," they replied. Then he said to them, "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's."

My comment:
Our world is a dangerous worls. A lot of peole will try to confuse and harm us. I think we can learn a lot of things from Jesus and the bible by reading it. Jesus shows us how to answer the questions of people who wants to bring us to court and try to kill us.
Jesus doesn`t want to argue with the Sadducce. He does it in a clever way. His answers let them become speechless. The Sadducce don`t know how to answer and become confused themselves. So I think we should learn from Jesus: don`t try to argue with the other but to make our enemies speechless.

Thank God that you are able to put aside some time for Him and study His words during your busy time of studying for your exam, I'm sure He will reward you for it :) We missed you this Sabbath though. Good luck on your test!
