Mark chapter 03

4 Then Jesus asked them, [...] But they remained silent. 
5 He looked round at them in anger and, deeply distressed at their stubborn hearts[...]

Here Jesus expressed his anger coming with a deeply distress. Of course he was angry at their blind obedience to the teachings of Rabbis, but the most thing aroused his anger should be their silence. Which meant that they did know the answer but just wouldn't like to admit it. Just like those Pharisees and scribes who heckled Jesus and pretended having no answer to Jesus's re-question(Mt 21.23-27),the behavior of keeping silent or pretending having no idea is not honest nor humble. That's why Jesus saw them stbborn and hypocritical. In front of the Truth, yse is yes, and no is no. All Jesus asked us is to admit our sins and faults with heart and honesty.
