Markus 11

Markus 11, 22-24

"Habt Glauben an Gott!"
"Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Wer zu diesem Berge spräche: Heb dich und wirf dich ins Meer! und zweifle nicht in seinem Herzen, sondern glaubte, dass geschehen werde, was er sagt, so wird's ihm geschehen."
"Darum sage ich euch: Alles, was ihr bittet in eurem Gebet, glaubt nur, dass ihr's empfangt, so wird's euch zuteil werden."

When I read this verses, i only thought how amazing and powerful this verses are.
I never could imagine when i say to a rock or even a mountain that it should move, it could really happen. I think i should try it one day^^
I think this verse (23) shows us clearly what a power Jesus gives us. And the only thing we have to do is to believe and not to doubt in our hearts. It's easier said than done.
Would you say to a rock: "move!" without any doubts in your mind? I think it's not impossible but it is very very difficult.
So we want to try, try very hard, to believe in everything what Jesus said and in our prayer
--> so our dreams will comes true, very soon.
We must firmly believe in Jesus, like a little kid firmly believe in Nicolaus...

Hehe, I though of one experience of mine. That was an urgent situation while I should prepare food for my community in Taiwan before their attendance but I forgot that the lock has been changed. So that I held the old key, couldn't open the door and was unable to immediately contact with other members. At that emergent moment, I was thinking of this verse and one testimony alike, so that I prayed with heart, and then put the key into the lock hole with a silent shout of HALELUJA!!!!!!!

Guess what?!

That's true. The door opened.

WOOOOOW that truuuuuuuuuly amazed me! God's promise never lost, if we do trust, without any doubt^^.

i have to say that simple faith is all that it takes. when i was in elementary school, my sister and i walked to school and home everyday. one day it was raining really hard and we had no umbrellas. so we decided to pray to God to stop the rain. guess what? the rain stopped for when we were walking home :) . it's such a shame that i think my faith has deteriorated since then, even tho i wasn't even baptized then, but i had simple faith in God. growing up definitely has it's downside. but God says that "unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." definitely need to continue to pursue strength in our faith always, so that we will be able to move mountains.
