Matthew Chapter 11

"18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon.’ 19 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ But wisdom is justified by her children."

No matter what we do, there will always be someone who will criticize. If they criticized Jesus, they will surely criticize us. We just have to remember that if we are doing things in accordance with God's teachings out of a pure heart for Him, then feel at peace with that and do not let the crticisms affect your serving God.

On the other hand, we need to be careful not to fall into temptation and become proud in serving the Lord. Perhaps there will be people who will provide suggestions to improve our way of serving the Lord. Keep an open ear and consider those suggestions. Perhaps through discussions, we can better serve the Lord as a team.
