Matthew Chapter 10

"22 And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved. "

This verse reminds us that it is ok to be hated by the world. Many times in this world we try to please other peole, and in the midst of doing that we forget that we actually offended God. We forget our purpose in life, and we forget who our Creator is. It is especially true during the stage of life where friends are important, and being accepted in society by others is important. Sometimes we will compromise with God just so we can appear likable to others. In doing that, we forget what's more important; to have God as your friend or to have the world as your friend. But here Jeusu tells us that those enduring the hatred of this world to the end will be saved.

Matthäus 10, 39:
"Wer sein Leben findet, der wird's verlieren; und wer sein Leben verliert um meinetwillen, der wird's finden"

A lot of people think, that live is short and you should enjoy it. Our life is really short and therefore we should use it seviceable (nützlich): to attend God and do his will.
Because our price is the heaven. Our further life is the heaven and it is eternally. So do not care about our short life- think of our furher life!

Oh yes.. I totally agree. Sometimes it's really hard to please God and to be hated by the world. Often times I have chosen the more convenient way to please the world than to please God (e.g. do search for an excuse why I cannot come to a party than to say that I am going to attend Sabbath service). So the last few months I f this weakness anocused ond I think I have improved at least a bit :). But there is still a lot of space to improve!! May God help us to reacht this goal.
