Mat 3:10 "And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
Mat 3:12 "His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire."
these two verses remind me that we must watch out not to falling into the trick of evil. On the judgement day all of us will be judged. If we do well, then we can get a part from Jesus. If not then we will be through into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Mar 14:38 "Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."

Jesus gets the Holy Spirit from God and begins in chapter 4 to preach. I think the Holy Spirit is for us Chistians the most important gift, because it has a lot of functions and is a part of us.
Yay, the comment works now. I must've accidentally turned it off yesterday. Sorry Maggie and Pengxiang. Although I quite like if we just post our verses and leave the comment section for actual comments for the individual posts :)
Matt 3:15
But Jesus, answering, said to him, "Allow it now, for this is the fitting way for us to fulfill all righteousness." Then he allowed him.

Matt 3:3
For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah when he said, " The voice of one crying in the wilderness: 'Prepare the way of the Lord; make his paths straight. ' "
What about us???
Do we make Gods paths straight to work on us and to work through us?? Do we truely give of the "strength of our youth"???
