Luk 21:9 "But when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately."
When I read this verse, a question came to me. Why these wars and commotions have to come to pass first? Why God would not try to stop them and come peacefully? Besides the time when God comes is not immediately, which means we have to suffer for a while. Why God let us to pass through these misfortunes?
I realized why God would let them happen to us, since I read Luk 21:19 "By your patience possess your souls.
Mat 7:13 "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.
Mat 7:14 "Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
It is because the gate leads to life is narrow and difficult, the one who can conquer all the difficulties can stand confidently before God’s throne. God uses these trials to strengthen our spiritual to let us know only he, whom we can rely on. The God we believe is not a God who doesn’t care. Not only the burden he gives us which is according to each one can bear but also he has prayed for us for he knows we are weak.
Remember ''By your patience possess your souls''.
