Luke 21

Luke21:34 “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly.

Some time ago I was thinking about the coming of the day of the LORD. I tried to imagine how it would be and I also tried to imagine, that it was tomorrow.
For me it was very hard to imagine, that it was tomorrow... somehow I couldn't. I asked myself: Why could I not imagine this? I came to a conclusion, that I was actually too focused on the "cares of this life". When I was trying to imagine, my thoughts were still on my homework or the next thing I would do after thinking. Thats why it was very hard to let go of these thoughts and think about something, that transcends these problems.
So in my opinion it is very hard to imagine the day of the LORD coming very soon. We are just too focused or bound to this world... just try yourself and think about the day of the LORD coming riiiiight NOW!!!!!!
