1 Timothy 2

"3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. "

This verse gives hope for our loved ones and commands a mission for us. The first paragraph sums up the How and Why for us.

How: 1) Supplications, prayers, intercession, giving of thanks be made for ALL men (v. 1) 2) Be a preacher and teacher of the truth (vs. 7)

Why: 1) It is good an accetable to God (vs. 3) 2) Our Mediator, Jesus Christ, was given as a ransom to be testified (vs. 5,6)
