John 1

Joh 1:11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.

At the beginning, God saw it was good, so that he created the world, the living creatures and the human. God formed man especially in His own image, and also gave the man the breath of life to let the man become living being and blessed him (Gen2:7; Gen1:28). That’s why we are good and special. However, as man somehow has higher position than other creatures, which are also created by God, because we have image of God and are blessed. The relationship between God and man is just like the father to his own child.

Indeed, from the beginning of the relationship between God and man (Adam), which was the father and son, after time went by and the sin effect, the relationship became as friend (Abraham). And then the relationship later on is more distant even as stranger or enemy, which is don’t know Him or don’t receive Him. This is more like the child doesn’t recognize or even scold his own father. I think, being a father his heart must be bleeding. Oh my God! It hurts!:)

God does not leave us alone, but instead loving us bigger and deeper. He gives us chance to reconcile to him. As long as believing in his name, he will give the right to become children of God to those, who receive Him.
